T.E.Laboratories was formed in 1991 initially specializing in the analysis and treatment of fuel. Since then the company has gone from strength to strength through a series of diversifications of our core business.
We now boast a first-class INAB Accredited Environmental Laboratory, a Chemical Manufacturing Laboratory, and a Microbiological Laboratory in addition to our Fuel Laboratory. In November 2007 we open our Transcheck Oil Analysis Laboratory.
Originally based in Blessington, Co Wicklow, alongside our sister company Sturdy Products, due to considerable expansion we moved to Tullow Co Carlow in 2000. Our new premises were custom built for our use, allowing expansion and growth in the future. In May 2005 the company went through a MBO. The company has developed it product range concentrating on our Production and Environmental Laboratories.
In November 2007 we installed a new GC for doing Dissolved Gases Analysis (DGA) on transformer oils. This has increased our capablilties, allowing us offer faster turnaround times to customers who generally sent their samples to the UK for analysis. We count among our customers many of Irelands to companies in the fields of Manufacturing, Environmental Consultancy, Fuel Distribution & Storage, Pharmaceutical Manufacturers as well as National and Local Government.
In January 2010 we moved into our new site (4000m2)- split over three levels with a large water treatment purification system utilizing rainwater from the roof. The larger facility has allowed us expand our operation in machine care oil analysis � using tribology for preventive maintenance on mechanical assets- , chemical production and research and development. We have continued to increase our in-house capabilities adding HPLC for Furan analysis in 2010 and Ferrography for mode of failure/wear identification in 2011. We have also widened our customer base exporting products to a number of European countries. In 2012 we had stands at Arab Lab in Dubai and Achema in Frankfurt, two of the leading trade shows in the chemical supply market.
